Responsible care is a unique and global initiative of the chemical industry under which
companies work together to continuously improve their health, safety and environmental
performance.
The Reponsible Care program started in Canada in 1995. From there it distributed in
chemical industries all over the world.
Since may 1991 also Fedichem applies and promotes this initiative. Also the Department
of Chemistry subscribes to the Responsible Care commitment and applies the guidelines
during its research and education.
